The pursuit of excellence is also the pursuit of perfection; both in life, and in linen.
It was my pursuit of perfection that landed me at the store launch of the Linen Club at Khar, Mumbai, in the last weekend.
While I perfected the art of excellence, I also learnt a few secrets about linen which I hadn’t heard of before. Linen is twice as strong as cotton and three times as strong as wool. Don’t I look stronger now? If you don’t believe me, try tearing me down.
Who doesn’t like to look cool? I do for sure and in this linen fabric that I am wearing, I am looking super-cool for sure. Being able to conduct heat 5 times better than wool and 19 times better than silk, people dressed in linen are measured to be 3-4 times cooler in hot weather.
For some, there may be a few moments in their life that distinguish themselves as special; their graduation, first job, getting married and so on. For me, I would like to make every moment of my life special. I am always in pursuit of greater conquests, and for me appearance is only a way to express excellence, which can only be worn, like my attitude and my belief.
Linen Club handpicks fibers sourced from the finest areas across the world to ensure the maintenance of the practice of making superlative quality linen since over six decades.
The fibers that Linen Club procures are sourced from France, Belgium and other parts of Europe, spun, woven and dyed with the finest European technology, thus committing by its promise that only perfection will suffice.
I would go miles to be dressed in a Linen Club fabric. It is a fact and not a hyperbole by any means. There is approximately 10 km of linen yarn in one yard of Linen Club fabric.
True class cannot be purchased. It has to be lived. I #LiveTheLinenLife
